Jaipur Gharana

Alladiya Khan created the Jaipur–Atrauli gharana in the late 19th century. Rooted in dhrupad yet rendered in khayal, its gayaki features complex layakari, rare ragas, powerful gamaks and meends and elaborately structured bol‑taans that test both vocal stamina and rhythmic precision.
