Pt. Rasiklal Andharia was a vocalist who adopted the Kirana gharana gayaki of Ustad Amir Khan. He was born on 13 October 1931 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, and received his musical training from his elder brother, Shri Babulal Andharia. The gayaki he adopted is characterised by its 'badhat ang', a systematic unfolding of the swaras of a raga in ascending order. Rasiklal was an A+ grade artist of Akashvani and Doordarshan. He received the Best Vocal Artist Award from the Meerut Music Circle and Swar Saadhna Samiti, the title 'Surmani' from Sur Singar Parishad, Mumbai, and the 'Gaurav Puraskar' from the Government of Gujarat, and was felicitated by the Governor of Delhi. He took part many times in the Swami Haridas Sangeet Samaroh and other music festivals across the country.
